Working is 1/3 of your life. When I'm not sleeping, here's how I spend time:

Running

I am constantly testing my knees

And so far they have not let me down. I love running. It's a sport I picked up while at Queen's. This might be one of my proudest accomplishments because I could barely do the beep test in grade 10 gym class. Now? I've finsihed a 1/2 marathon and am training for a full. My running must: music with a consistent rythm to match my pace or strong build-up (Mumford & sons is surprisingly great for running). My training go-to: visualize. I like to mark each part of a long run in mind so that as I pass these markers I can evaluate my progress and basically give'r if I'm behind - my first 10K is always my slowest.

Yoga
I like the idea of it

And sometimes I even go! I make it at least once a week and have been doing it for about 10 years. It's perfect for slowing down and stopping your thoughts. It's also a way to discover that you can't touch your own toes and most people can. After a decade, my toes still out-distance my fingers.

Music

I love when songs place you

I am always listening to music. I like most but am not loyal to one. I love concerts: the energy, excitement, and knowing everyone there is part of the same memory is pretty cool.

Travel

I caught the chronic travel bug

I love planning and researching destinations to visit. The challenge is creating a budget while maximizing experiences. The key is being as flexible as possible... if you're planning on seeing the world, then the order you do it doesn't matter. Once you figure that out, travelling becomes very affordable.

Being
Happy

I'm working on my laugh lines

I love discovering new neighbourhoods - I walk everywhere. I think my friends are the best company. I can't cook but I CAN experiment. My favourite food is bananas and I eat one a day (you are what you eat). I get a kick out of my sister and her two babies. I love art and the culture of fashion. I have been a ROM YPC member since 2013. I could go on. . . but this isn't a dating profile.
